TAWAS POINT LIGHTHOUSE, East Tawas Michigan is in my top 10 list of Michigan lighthouses to paint. Michigan has 116 lighthouses and at one time had 247. Tawas Point Lighthouse is located in Tawas Point State Park. Any season of the year is a good time to visit this lighthouse. in the warm months you can tour the lighthouse and go up top for an incredible view.
This is a beautiful place to paint (also swim, camp, bike etc.) dont miss this one.
