This is a Michigan landscape I can paint over and over again...the changing light, the people and the little vignettes of things happening here have made it a popular hamlet..sort of the Cape Cod of Michigan in miniature. SOMETIMES you can see the big Lake Michigan fish cruising around right here in this area...the water is sooo clear! The winter is even fascinating to see when the fishing boats are moored up for the season. No "salt" smell though like the sea.
